Our Ozobots come in a class set of 16 and can be used in key stages 1, 2 and 3. Ozobots can be programmed in a variety of ways and have a sensor on their base that allows them to recognise and react to different colours.
Younger pupils can hand draw lines using different colour combinations to give ozobot instructions. Teachers might also introduce the Ozobot apps and challenge pupils to add colour codes to digital lines.
Older pupils will progress to a block based programming system called Ozoblockly (similar to Scratch) to program their Ozobot, choosing from five different levels of complexity so the challenge can be increased as they learn.Â
